“Bilingual Blossoming”
Maria, I want to let you know how pleased I am with Logan and Miranda’s progress at school. They both started to speak bits of French a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend while we were doing something fun, Miranda said to me ‘Mama, je suis content’ (?sorry, can’t spell). They both know the pleasantries
and songs. What is amazing to me is that they are really only getting the interactions for about 6 hours per day. At the beginning when they were fussing about going I explained to them that I had to pay money for them to go, so they should at least give it a chance. Last night before bed Logan asked if he was going to school today. When I responded no, he asked if I could pay more money so that he could go every day. The teachers have done a good job at winning them over and at the moment they both love going to school.
